The people behind the work
Design discipline in the planning room. Craftsmanship in the field.
Fusion Master Builders brings an architecture-trained point of view and practical construction experience into one accountable residential building process.

A builder shaped by both drawings and job sites.
Owner David Thompson studied architecture at UTSA and built his experience through hands-on work in residential construction. That education informs how Fusion studies proportion, circulation, materials, and the relationship between a home and its site.
Architecture-trained describes the planning perspective David brings to the work; it is not presented as a claim that Fusion is a licensed architecture practice.
Good design and sound construction should challenge each other early.
Plans become stronger when constructability, existing conditions, site demands, selections, and investment are discussed before work begins. Construction becomes stronger when the intent behind the plan remains visible in the field.
Fusion connects those conversations so the finished home can feel coherent rather than assembled one isolated decision at a time.
Clear responsibility makes a complicated project easier to follow.
Residential construction involves homeowners, designers, engineers, suppliers, specialty trades, inspectors, and many linked decisions. Fusion’s role is to keep the work organized around the approved plan, current field conditions, and the decisions that move the project forward.
The goal is not to pretend that construction has no uncertainty. It is to make the next decision visible, explain its consequence, and keep the project moving with care.
